Celebrate 2013 Vesak with Venerable Ajahn Brahmavamso

As usual Venerable Ajahn Brahmavamso will be visiting Melbourne this May to celibrate and conduct Dhamma talks , retreats and meditation sessions. There are various events held during this Vesak season across Melbourne. Here are some of them.

Saturday May 18 and Sunday, May 19  2013

Buddha's Day,Multicultural Festival 

A free event held by Fo Guang Shan Melbourne and Buddha's Light International Association of Victoria (BLIA VIC) at Federation Square to celebrate the vesak or wesak. 

it will incorporates the traditions of Buddhist ceremonies and celebrations including the 'Bathing of the Buddha', daily Dharma ceremonies, the Wishing Bell and traditional incense offerings, a vegetarian culinary tour of Asia, cultural demonstrations and insights, music, art and craft and community service groups. There should be plenty activities for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike
